Uphold Immigration Law
Idaho should never reward illegal immigration with state issued privileges. The first duty of government is to protect its citizens, that means backing enforcement, not undermining it. David will oppose any effort to grant driver’s licenses or similar benefits to people who are in our country illegally, and he will support policies that help law enforcement cooperate with federal removal efforts when needed.
Idaho is not just a place, we are a people bound by a culture. We will lose our Idaho if we continue to import foreigners who break our laws.
David’s commitment
• No state issued driver’s licenses for illegal immigrants
• No sanctuary style loopholes in Idaho law
• Strong consequences for illegal entry and repeat violations
Defend Idaho Family Values
Idaho’s Constitution starts with gratitude to Almighty God for our freedom, and it says plainly that the first concern of good government is “the purity of the home.” David Worley believes Government should protect children, respect parents, and promote public virtue, not fund or normalize radical sexual ideology, pornography, or material that undermines family life. Our schools, libraries, and public institutions should be places that reinforce what is good, true, and beautiful, not places where innocence is targeted and boundaries are erased. Idaho can defend liberty without surrendering morality, and we can uphold tolerance without using tax dollars to push agendas that weaken the family as the fundamental unit of society.
David’s commitment
• Keep explicit sexual content and ideology away from minors in schools and public institutions
• Protect parental rights in education and health decisions
• Defend religious liberty, free speech, and the ability of communities to uphold decent public standards
Restore Honest Government
Idahoans do not elect state legislators so good bills can be buried on one man’s whim. One of the biggest frustrations in Boise is the “chairman’s drawer” culture, where committee chairs can slow walk, stall, or even kill legislation by never scheduling it for a real vote.
Idahoans deserve the representative government of a free people, not a corrupt “rule by procedure.” As Senate State Affairs chairman, Jim Guthrie has had clear power over what gets heard and when, and even when the entire body of House of Representatives passed bills, he has thwarted legislation all by himself. David will push for a Senate that operates in daylight, with transparent calendars, recorded votes, and a fair process that lets the people’s agenda rise or fall on the merits.
David’s commitment
• Up or down votes, not silent stall tactics
• Transparency in committee scheduling and decision making
• Rules reforms that ends the one man “desk veto” power and restore accountability

Illegal immigration isn’t just a problem for border states. It is a national crisis. Human and drug trafficking routes stretch across the nation and our communities are not immune. Illegal labor drives down wages and strains community resources like schools, hospitals, and law enforcement. These are not distant problems, but real threats to the safety and prosperity of Idaho families, and our state sovereignty.
David’s Commitment:
• Criminalize illegal entry into Idaho and related offenses at the state level, allowing for enforcement even when the federal government fails to act.
• Mandate statewide law enforcement cooperation with ICE and close non-enforcement loopholes.
• No government benefits or services to illegal aliens.
• Serious penalties for organizations that knowingly harbor, transport, or aid illegal aliens in Idaho.
Unborn children must be protected by the full force of law. Life begins at conception, and killing children in the womb is just as immoral as killing children after they are born.
David’s Commitment:
• Keep abortion (infanticide) illegal in Idaho.
• Expand protections for unborn children so that they have equal protection as children after birth.
The right to self-defense is God-given. The US Constitution clearly states that "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” The Second Amendment codifies our right to possess the means of protecting ourselves and our community from criminals and tyrants.
David’s Commitment:
• Protect the right to keep and bear arms in Idaho.
• Ensure that Idaho law recognizes the rights of citizens to provide for their individual and collective defense.
John Adams said, "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
Christian morality is the foundation of Western Civilization and our republic. The state has a legitimate role to play in supporting public and private morality. It has an obligation to protect the innocence of children and create public spaces that are safe for children and families.
David’s Commitment:
• Ban the use of government resources to advance the LGBTQ agenda or support sexual immorality generally.
• Mandatory minimum prison sentences for the production and distribution of child pornography.
•Restore Idaho’s traditional definition of marriage. One man and one woman.
•Prohibit Drag Performances for Children. Ensure that kids are not subjected to adult cabaret performances including Drag Queen Story Hour.
Government must be limited to preserve freedom and prevent it from becoming a financial burden to the citizens it is supposed to serve. Our state government has grown far beyond its necessary and proper roles. We need to reduce the size and cost of our government so that Idaho citizens can keep more of their hard-earned wages.
David’s Commitment:
• Reduce the tax burdens on Idaho whenever possible.
•Cut wasteful spending and improve government efficiency to reduce the tax burden and Idaho’s reliance on federal spending.
Cultural Marxism has no place in public schools. Radical ideologies on race, class, and gender have no place Idaho’s classrooms and public institutions. Our schools should foster private and civic virtue. They should not promote hatred of their nation, people, or even their own biology. They should not promote sexual immorality. Our schools must return to fostering love of the good, the true, and the beautiful.
David’s Commitment:
• Drive radical Leftist ideology from Idaho education institutions.
•Expand school choice in Idaho so that parents have the resources to control how and where their children are educated.
Free and fair elections are a pillar of the Republic. We need in-person elections with tamper-proof paper ballots. We need strict voter ID laws. Early voting creates unnecessary opportunities for fraud and should be further restricted to prevent abuse. We should also follow the example of states like Florida that have dedicated resources to investigate and punish election fraud.
David’s Commitment:
• Real voter ID requirement. No affidavit option to avoid providing an ID.
• Require proof of citizenship during voter registration.
•Close absentee/mail-in ballot loopholes that create opportunity for fraud.
